Ways To Save Money Buying Event Tickets

More and more ticket sellers dump tickets that they are afraid they will not sell onto Craigslist and Ebay.  Usually for last second bidders, extraordinary deals can be found.

Get an American Express card.  Ticketmaster and AMEX have a special arrangement where AMEX card holder get special concert ticket presales.

There are hundreds of concert presale sites of you take the time the trouble to search Google for presale passwords, concert presales, etc.

Phone a radio station that is sponsoring a concert and beg them for tickets.

Got to the event and walk around the venue to see if there are people selling tickets.  If you are dealing with an experienced scalper wait until the concert or game begins and then make a low ball offer.  Some will pretend to get upset others will sell the ticket just to get some cash for the ticket.

There are certain events all over the world that that could be called a once in a lifetime ticket.

There are obvious examples like the National Football League’s Super Bowl.  If you are a VIP, sure you been then to the Super Bowl, probably more than once.  But if you are the average, ordinary fan there are not so many opportunities to see these once in a lifetime event.

Other events that fall into this category include World Series Games, the World Cup, the BCS Title game, the Stanley Cup and NBA Finals games, that is a lot of events that you’d have to pay a fortune to see (unless as disclosed above you are a VIP).

Other events that might be a little easier to attend include The NCAA Finals, The INDY 500, The Daytona 500The Masters, The PGA Championship. The Winter and Summer Olympics.
